**About Us**

The Center for Immigrant & Refugee Advancement (CIRA) is a nonprofit organization that provides exceptional, compassionate legal representation, refugee services, and social work services. We take on the most complex immigration cases, resettle refugees from around the world, and ensure all clients have access to much-needed resources.

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Refugee Resettlement Coordinator to join our Resettlement & Placement (R&P) Program. The successful candidate will assist in securing safe, affordable housing for newly arrived refugees in Lincoln, Nebraska.

About the Role

• This position will report directly to the Program Manager and will be responsible for coordinating housing efforts, conducting intakes, and ensuring case closure.
• The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, cultural awareness, and a strong sense of compassion.
• A valid driver's license, clean driving record, and access to a personal, insured vehicle are required.

Key Responsibilities

1. Housing Coordination: Assist in locating and securing housing in Lincoln for large refugee families (4+ members).
2. Intake and Case Closure: Explain leasing agreements, housing procedures, and tenant responsibilities to refugee families.
3. Administrative Duties: Complete Metro Housing Collaborative Referral forms and set up online utility accounts for clients as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; bachelor's degree highly preferred.
• Excellent English communication (oral and written) required.
• Proficiency with Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint) and data management software required.

Estimated Salary Range: $49,000 - $55,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
