The **Accountant** plays a crucial role in overseeing organizational audits, implementing, and documenting accounting practices while maintaining internal controls. Key responsibilities include managing third-party receivables, executing periodic journal entries, conducting reconciliations, and generating related reports. Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of month-end accounting tasks, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
  • Apply essential accounting principles in daily operations, including managing credit card receivables for the U.S. and Canada, tracking credit card expenses, and preparing relevant reports.
  • Proactively resolve discrepancies through financial analysis and related techniques.
  • Address outstanding issues promptly while delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining strong internal and external relationships.
  • Respond to audit requests from both internal and external parties.
  • Support special projects, departmental objectives, and ad-hoc analyses.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and propose solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications
  • Two to three years of experience in accounting or finance.
  • Experience with SAP is advantageous.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Preferred experience in journal entry preparation, auditing, and balance sheet reconciliation.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • A collaborative team player.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and thoroughness.
  • Willingness to take on additional responsibilities as needed.
  • Self-motivated and a creative problem solver.
  • Focus on continuous improvement and process enhancement.
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance.
