  • Conduct car seat safety inspections using the child safety seat checklist and data provided by the New Jersey Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
  • Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills to provide a high level of satisfaction to customers.
  • Collaborate with other Child Passenger Safety Specialists to achieve common goals.
  • Participate in community events by performing car seat safety inspections and providing education.
  • Make recommendations for program enhancements and improvements.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma.
  • 4–5-day training course/Certified Child Passenger Safety Seat Technician/Recertification every 2 years.
