Job Title: Medical Records Clerk

The Medical Records Clerk position at VersAbility Resources Inc. in Norfolk is a vital role that requires a high level of attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide general administrative support by managing correspondence, maintaining files, organizing documents, and assisting with record management.

  • Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and requests promptly and professionally.
  • Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure smooth workflow and efficient operations.
  • Adhere to established procedures, policies, and guidelines to maintain confidentiality and data security.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma is required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience as a general clerk, medical clerk, or similar administrative role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
  • Ability to multitask and work well under pressure in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented setting.
  • Familiarity with military, government, and/or health information administrative processes and systems is preferred.
  • This position requires an Active Secret security clearance or the ability to pass a Government investigation to obtain a Secret clearance.
