Position Overview:


The Customer Service Associate is tasked with delivering prompt, friendly service to patrons of Krispy Kreme, while also ensuring a professional store environment. This role is essential in achieving complete customer satisfaction and upholding the esteemed standards set by Krispy Kreme Doughnut Corporation.


Key Responsibilities:
- Providing courteous assistance and addressing customer inquiries

- Accurately processing and fulfilling orders

- Engaging in suggestive selling techniques with politeness

- Handling payment transactions and delivering correct change

- Inspecting products for quality in accordance with Krispy Kreme standards

- Preparing necessary ingredients for doughnut production (glaze, fillings, and icings - adhering to the correct formulas)

- Restocking items to ensure freshness

- Assisting with unloading delivery trucks

- Following procedures and company standards as outlined in the Krispy Kreme Retail and Processing Specialist Training Workbooks

- Answering phone calls promptly and utilizing Krispy Kreme greeting protocols

- Offering product samples to customers at management's discretion

- Performing other miscellaneous tasks as assigned

- Conducting sanitation duties to maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary shop environment.

Including but not limited to:
- Sweeping and mopping all required areas within the store.

- Cleaning, sanitizing, and stocking restrooms

- Sanitizing tables and chairs in the customer area

- Emptying trash receptacles inside and outside

- Ensuring cleanliness of the parking lot and surrounding areas

- Washing windows

Related Skills:
- Cross-training in load out procedures

Essential Skills and Experience:
- Strong customer service skills are required

- Excellent communication abilities are essential

- Basic mathematical skills to manage various monetary transactions are necessary

- Basic literacy skills are required

- Must successfully pass a drug screening and criminal background check

Nonessential Skills and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred

Visual/Audible Acuity Requirements:
- Must be able to read product boxes, labels, and measuring devices

- Must be able to communicate with and understand customers and co-workers

Working Conditions:
- The worker is subject to inside environmental conditions

- Un-air conditioned production areas may reach high temperatures for extended periods

- Worker may be exposed to noise in the production/processing area to the extent that shouting may be necessary to communicate.
