Spectrum Health Systems is seeking a skilled Counselor to join our team at MCI Norfolk and Pondville Correctional Center. As a Counselor, you will be responsible for assessing and evaluating inmate needs, monitoring compliance with program and Massachusetts Department of Correction rules, and facilitating classes and group sessions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and evaluate inmate needs
  • Monitor inmate compliance with program and Massachusetts Department of Correction rules
  • Facilitate classes and group sessions
  • Maintain records in accordance with Spectrum and MA DOC policies
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary treatment planning and case reviews
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in criminal justice, human services, education, or closely related field
  • DOC experience and CADC or LADC preferred
