Job Description

As a key member of our Texas restaurant team, the Assistant Manager plays a vital role in ensuring the success of our business. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as an Assistant Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Experience: Provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive dining experience for our guests.
  • Food Preparation and Service: Ensure that high-quality food is prepared and served to our guests in a timely manner.
  • Restaurant Maintenance: Maintain a clean and safe environment for our guests and staff.
  • Inventory Management: Control inventory levels to minimize waste and ensure that we have the necessary supplies to meet customer demand.
  • Staff Scheduling and Supervision: Schedule and supervise staff to ensure that we have the right people in the right place at the right time.
  • Restaurant Safety and Security: Maintain a safe and secure environment for our guests and staff.
  • Team Player: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve our goals.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Staff Management: Manage a staff of 4-12, including assigning and evaluating work.
  • Event Planning: Assist in planning special events and promotions in the restaurant, coordinating any necessary training to ensure their success.
  • Inventory and Ordering: Assist with product ordering and inventory management as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Experience in a restaurant operation, preferably with supervisory experience.
Essential Functions
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills to deal with all levels of team members.
  • Computer Knowledge: Basic computer knowledge is desirable.
Physical Demands
  • Work Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment, standing and walking for long periods.
  • Lifting: Ability to lift up to 30 pounds occasionally.
