Job Summary

Soliant is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating students with speech and language impairments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluation and Diagnosis: Perform thorough assessments and evaluations to diagnose speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students.
  • Treatment Planning: Create and implement tailored treatment plans (IEPs) to address each student's specific communication needs.
  • Therapeutic Services: Deliver direct therapeutic services to students experiencing speech and language difficulties.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work in partnership with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support and integrate speech and language goals within the classroom environment.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and confidential records of student progress, therapy sessions, and IEP documentation.
  • Professional Development: Engage in continuous professional learning to stay updated with the latest practices and advancements in speech-language pathology.
Requirements
  • Education: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Licensure: Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Special Services Provider license with a Speech-Language Pathologist endorsement.
  • Certification: Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
  • Skills and Abilities: Comprehensive understanding of speech and language disorders and development, strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, ability to collaborate effectively with students, educational staff, and families, commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to best practices.
