Job Opportunity: School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Position: School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Job Summary: Soliant is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our school team. Responsibilities include providing speech and language therapy to students, conducting assessments, and developing individualized education programs (IEPs). Experience in a school setting is preferred, Clinical Fellows (CF) are welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive speech and language evaluations to assess students' communication skills
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans and IEPs to meet students' unique needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to ensure effective communication and support
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions to students, adapting to their learning styles and needs
  • Maintain accurate records of services provided, including progress notes and IEP updates
  • Participate in IEP meetings to ensure students receive the support they need

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • State licensure as an SLP, with certification from ASHA preferred
  • Previous experience in a school setting, with Clinical Fellows (CF) welcome to apply
  • Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
