We are seeking a highly skilled Water/Wastewater Engineer to join our team at Remington & Vernick Engineers. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning, designing, and performing analysis on water/wastewater engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan, design, and perform analysis on water/wastewater engineering projects, including pipelines, pumping stations, and treatment facilities.
- Act as the firm's representative to clients and provide support to branch offices in NJ/PA/DE/MD area.
- Conduct hydraulic calculations and layout of structures.
- Produce correspondence, reports, and biddable documents for water plants, wells, water storage tanks, pumping stations, piping systems, and wastewater treatment plant improvements.
- Provide engineering support to our inspection department.
- Draft concise proposals for new work.
- Identify problems/issues and provide effective resolution.
- Assist with energy audits.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Structural, or Chemical Engineering from an accredited four-year college or university.
- Pennsylvania PE Licenses Required or Ability to Acquire NJPE Reciprocity Essential.
- Effective communication, management, and writing skills.
- Skilled in the use of Word/Excel products.
- AutoCAD capability a plus.
The employee occasionally works in the field and may be exposed to outside weather conditions. Work requires frequent and prolonged computer use. May occasional lift up to 25 pounds.
