Job Title: Senior EMI/EMC Engineer

As a Senior EMI/EMC Engineer at ZT Systems, you will play a key role in developing and enhancing our systems to meet the highest standards of Electromagnetic Interference and Compatibility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with customers to review and ensure compliance with EMI and EMC standards for their products.
  • Lead a team on location to execute testing and validation programs for customer equipment.
  • Determine methods and layouts for compliance to EMC design standards for customers.
  • Develop and manage EMI/EMC test data to assist in root cause and corrective actions.
  • Communicate periodic status and known risks with proposed solutions on projects.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree and 6+ years of experience in EMI/EMC engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience as an Electrical Engineer, Compliance Engineer, EMI Engineer, or related title.
  • Extensive knowledge of Electromagnetic Interference (EMI), Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) theory, signal integrity, and power quality.
  • Expert skills in use of Spectrum Analyzers, EMI receivers, signal generators, RF power meters, RF amplifiers, antennas, and other relevant equipment.
  • Ability to work on complex issues with proven success and demonstrated ability in troubleshooting EMI/EMC issues in a lab environment.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Integrated Circuit level EMI/EMC specifications and methods.
  • Proactive and oriented to exploit opportunities and identify potential problems.
  • Ability to use time, energy, and resources in an effective manner to achieve set goals.
  • Ability to identify the elements of a situation and articulate and solve problems.
  • Collaborative, flexible, and adaptable.
  • Ability to lead a team of technicians.
