Soliant is seeking a dedicated and experienced Special Education Teacher to join our team. As a Special Education Teacher, you will work in an elementary classroom with students who require additional support and accommodations.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
- Provide instruction and support to students in a variety of settings, including the classroom and one-on-one
- Collaborate with general education teachers and other support staff to ensure a comprehensive and inclusive learning environment
- Assess student progress and adjust instruction to meet the needs of all learners
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to ensure a smooth transition between home and school
Requirements:
- Missouri Special Education Teaching License
- Minimum 1+ years of experience working with students with special needs
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
