Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist

The Speech-Language Pathologist in the school setting is responsible for conducting comprehensive evaluations and providing individualized therapy services to students with communication disorders. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, be able to work collaboratively with educators and parents, and have a passion for helping students achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct assessments to identify communication disorders and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to provide comprehensive support services.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, interventions, and educational materials to minimize the impact of communication disorders.
  • Provide speech and language therapy to students, utilizing evidence-based practices and technologies.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices and research.
Requirements:
  • Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure in the state of assignment.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Compliance with all relevant professional standards of practice.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations, including students, educators, and parents.
  • Computer proficiency and strong organizational skills.
