Overview
The Fire Project Manager is essential in evaluating and estimating the costs associated with Fire & Contents restoration projects. This role involves collaboration with clients, insurance adjusters, and internal teams to ensure the effective completion of restoration initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
· Formulate and assess project scope and estimates, negotiate approvals, allocate resources, and oversee production with teams.
· Perform on-site evaluations to determine damage and restoration needs.

· Clarify estimation specifics to clients and address any inquiries or concerns.

· Ensure a precise scope of work for projects and prepare estimates using computer systems and proprietary software.

· Maintain ongoing communication with clients, team members, vendors, and insurance representatives.

Required Qualifications
· Strong time management and organizational skills to meet project deadlines and handle multiple estimations concurrently.
· Valid driver's license.
· High attention to detail, with the ability to produce accurate and comprehensive estimates and documentation.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of effectively conveying technical information to clients, insurance adjusters, and internal teams.

Preferred Qualifications

· 1-2 years of prior experience in estimating within the insurance restoration sector.

· High school diploma/GED.

· Familiarity with advanced estimation software and tools, such as Xactimate.

· Xactimate Certification: Level 1/2.

Working Hours & Travel Requirements

· Job Type: Full Time

· Standard schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

· This position may require extended hours (beyond 8 hours a day), including some evening and weekend work.

· On-call rotation: Participation in the department's on-call program may be expected, with prior notification.

· Travel: Primarily local, with some out-of-area and overnight travel anticipated.

Physical and Work Environment Requirements

· Ability to lift and carry equipment or materials weighing up to 50 pounds, as needed during on-site evaluations.

· Capable of walking and standing for extended periods, sitting, climbing ladders, working at elevated heights, and in confined spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics).

· Extensive computer use is required, including prolonged periods of typing, data entry, and working with various software applications.

· Strong visual acuity to accurately assess damage and construction details.
