Job Overview

Position Summary

The role of the driver is crucial in providing exceptional service to clients. Candidates should exhibit a friendly demeanor and prioritize customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include assisting clients with entering and exiting the vehicle, ensuring a seamless 'through the door' service.

Work Schedule

Applicants should be prepared for a flexible work schedule to meet operational demands. Given that many clients are Korean-speaking, fluency in Korean is a requirement.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Conduct pre-trip inspections on all vehicles to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Safely transport clients to various destinations.
  • Ensure all personal items and equipment are secured during transit.

Qualifications

A high school diploma or GED is preferred but not mandatory. A valid driver's license is required, with a Class C or commercial driver's license Class A or B with passenger endorsement. CPR/First Aid certification is a plus but not essential. Familiarity with the local area is beneficial.

Experience and Skills

Previous experience driving corporate clients or paratransit vehicles is advantageous. Candidates must possess a valid driver's license for a minimum of five years, with no more than one moving violation or at-fault accident in the past three years. Proficiency in using mobile devices and GPS navigation is expected, along with at least one year of experience working with elderly individuals.

Essential Attributes

Ideal candidates should demonstrate self-motivation, responsibility, and strong communication skills. A positive attitude and a willingness to exceed expectations are essential.

Work Environment

Drivers must thrive in a fast-paced setting. A current driving record printout is required upon application, along with passing a pre-employment drug screening, Data check, and EPS check.
