Production Team Lead

At Truly Free Inc, we're looking for a skilled Production Team Lead to oversee our Midnight Shift Labeling operation, Powder Lines, and Liquid Line. As a key member of our team, you'll ensure that our production rates and safety objectives are met while driving continuous improvements in our production process.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate daily production plans with our Fulfillment Supervisor, Production Supervisor, and Operations Manager to determine product build requirements.
- Supervise employees during the Midnight shift across all production areas, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.
- Assign specific products to appropriate line personnel, ensuring raw materials are available for production teams.
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of QC lot numbers and dates, ensuring lot control is accurately kept.
- Locate and move raw materials from the Warehouse and log them into inventory, as well as transfer finished products to shipping and log them into inventory.
- Ensure raw materials are stocked as needed, and help keep production equipment running smoothly with minor repairs as required.
- Assist in production roles if needed, provide necessary training to new hires, and coordinate with Operations Manager and HR regarding staffing and scheduling needs.
- Maintain regular communication with shipping and other teams via Slack.
- Work in an indoor environment, such as a warehouse, and collaborate closely with other team members.
- Supportive managers and coworkers in a healthy work environment.
- Ensure all employees work in a safe and healthful environment free from discrimination.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, as well as basic computer knowledge.
- Able to work with all levels of staff and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Prolonged periods of standing, occasional sitting at a desk, and working on a computer.
- Excellent inventory and record-keeping skills.
- A strong work ethic and hands-on approach.
- Team management and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate staff and prioritize workload.
