Accounting Manager

The Accounting Manager role at Stanford Hotels Corporation is a pivotal position within the finance department. This role primarily involves overseeing the consolidation process and managing monthly and year-end financial closings. Reporting directly to the Corporate VP of Finance, the ideal candidate will engage in a variety of accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct monthly financial consolidations
  • Prepare and present financial statements
  • Oversee monthly closing procedures
  • Manage the Loan schedule
  • Ensure the integrity of the general ledger, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial statements
  • Collaborate with external auditors and address inquiries
  • Support ad-hoc financial projects
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in public accounting
  • CPA certification is required
  • Strong understanding of GAAP principles
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks independently
  • Outstanding communication abilities
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Preferred: 5+ years of accounting experience with a focus on consolidated financial statements
