Job Summary
We are seeking a Compassionate Hospice Care Professional to join our team. This role provides patient care and support services under the direction of a Registered Nurse and/or Clinical Supervisor. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be compassionate and empathetic towards patients and their families, and demonstrate flexibility and composure while supporting others in a time of crisis.

Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and assist with daily living activities for patients
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment for patients
- Prepare and serve light meals as needed
- Assist patients with ambulation and use of walkers or wheelchairs
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as emptying trash and changing linens
- Participate in Quality Improvement activities as assigned by supervisor

Requirements
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required
- 6 months of patient care experience in hospice, home health, ICU, geriatric, or oncology strongly preferred
- Additional experience in hospital Staff RN, Med Surg, PACU, Float pool, ER or emergency room, critical care, acute care, cardiac, geriatric, admissions, wound care, telemetry, nursing home or travel an asset
- Current driver's license and automobile insurance required
- Current CPR certification
