Job Title: LPN Dispensing Nurse

We are seeking a skilled LPN Dispensing Nurse to join our team at Coatesville Comprehensive Treatment Center. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, safe, and efficient medication dispensing to patients seeking recovery from opioid use disorder.

About the Role:

The LPN Dispensing Nurse will work under the supervision of the Medical Director and Clinic Director, maintaining practical nursing professional standards of care. Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and administering medication as ordered by the Medical Director or Program Physician accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Maintaining accurate accounting of all medication received and dispensed.
  • Charting medication administration in nurse's notes accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Documenting nursing care provided and maintaining appropriate records related to patient's progress and activities.
  • Responsible for the safekeeping of all medication stock and the records required by the DEA, FDA, and ADP.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current LPN license in PA.
  • Prefer 1 year nursing experience in behavioral health, outpatient treatment program, or addiction recovery field.
  • Training or experience treating patients with MAT (medication-assisted treatment) highly preferred.
