Job Overview:

The Operations Support Coordinator plays a vital role in facilitating various operational functions within the organization. This position collaborates closely with the Operations Manager and Commercial Manager to ensure the facility is consistently prepared to meet operational demands and capitalize on emerging opportunities. Key responsibilities include assisting with inventory management, overseeing operational cost efficiency, coordinating logistics, optimizing grain processing, and ensuring asset security.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support effective inventory management in alignment with company standards.
  • Assist in maintaining operational costs within the established budget.
  • Collaborate with the Operations Manager on facility enhancement initiatives.
  • Maximize grain processing opportunities by efficiently utilizing available resources.
  • Coordinate preventative maintenance activities to uphold a safe and compliant facility.
  • Facilitate talent development for operational personnel to ensure seamless operations.
  • Promote energy conservation efforts to enhance sustainability and reduce operational costs.
  • Safeguard facility assets to mitigate risks related to theft and damage.
  • Supervise onsite personnel, including contractors and temporary staff.
  • Ensure adherence to safety, regulatory, and environmental standards.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Perform other assigned tasks as needed.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and support clients as required.
  • Propose process enhancements when necessary.
Qualifications/Experience/Skills:
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in an elevator or terminal environment is preferred.
  • A background in agriculture is advantageous.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. without assistance.
  • Frequent standing, walking, and manual dexterity required.
  • Exposure to moderate to high noise levels in the work environment.
  • Frequent exposure to grain dust.
  • Capability to navigate uneven terrain and confined spaces safely.
  • Willingness to wear personal protective equipment as needed.
  • Ability to climb ladders and work at heights of approximately 200 ft.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Ability to fulfill job responsibilities for up to 8 hours daily.
