About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Email Production Specialist to join our Growth Marketing Team at Nextdoor. As an integral part of our lifecycle team, you will be responsible for the technical execution of email marketing campaigns in support of our company objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the email production process from start to finish, including campaign setup and mapping, HTML coding, audience segmentation, QA, approvals, and deployment.
  • Ensure email deliverability by maintaining high list hygiene and following best practices.
  • Segment email lists to target specific audiences with relevant and personalized content.
  • Execute A/B and multivariate testing to continuously improve performance and drive channel growth.
  • Track and analyze email campaign performance metrics, including open rates, click-through rates, and conversion rates, and report on results.
  • Proactively project manage the weekly calendar's production schedule, confirm details, communicate timely updates, and collect all necessary approvals from key stakeholders.
  • Maintain a creative asset repository.
  • Stay up-to-date on email best practices and ensure they are being followed.
  • Follow the competitive marketplace and email trends.
Requirements
  • 2-5 years of experience managing high-volume email sends in an ESP.
  • Familiarity with ESPs, with Iterable being a plus.
  • HTML and CSS knowledge for email development.
  • An understanding of design tools, such as Adobe Photoshop, Canva, and/or Figma.
  • Ability to prioritize projects and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Self-motivated and energetic mindset with the ability to multi-task, work independently, and learn technical information quickly.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Curiosity and desire to make things better, faster, and stronger.
