Job Description:
The Salesforce Developer Internship provides a 12+ week development experience, allowing you to assess your interest and aptitude for a career in Salesforce development. Throughout the internship, you will learn development processes, the insurance industry, and the TIH Insurance Holdings organization. You will gain general application development knowledge, insurance and business insight, experience our organization's culture, and play a meaningful role in supporting our goals. You will also develop leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
As a Salesforce Developer Intern, you will participate in IT projects, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and production support. You will complete assignments that assist the department in its mission while helping you learn more about the corporate environment. You will also learn about insurance, the industry workflow, and various divisions within the organization as assigned during the internship.

Qualifications:
To be eligible for this internship, you must be currently enrolled in at least a sophomore-level coursework with strong academic performance leading towards a bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS, engineering, or a related field at an accredited college or university. You should have experience in JavaScript; Java experience is a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills are also required. You must be located in the DFW area and able to work in the Dallas office every Tuesday.

Benefits:
As a regular teammate, you will be eligible for benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, accidental death and dismemberment, tax-preferred savings accounts, and a 401k plan. You will also receive no less than 10 days of vacation (prorated based on date of hire and by full-time or part-time status) during your first year of employment, along with 10 sick days (also prorated), and paid holidays.

Salary:
The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 per year, based on the location and industry standards.
