POSITION SUMMARY

The Facility Maintenance Engineer is responsible for overseeing project financial forecasts and managing the planning, execution, and inspection of various initiatives. This role also involves guiding the team through procedural developments and modifications.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Coordinate and schedule vendor assistance as required.
  • Develop and implement tools to enhance project efficiency.
  • Assess and review the performance of project personnel and contractors.
  • Manage documentation and procedures that regulate project operations.
  • Recommend necessary training for project staff.
  • Suggest project modifications that enhance efficiency and safety, liaising with regulatory bodies as needed.
  • Effectively communicate technical information and concepts both verbally and in writing.
  • Assist in drafting and revising procedures, ensuring compliance with established guidelines.
  • Participate in meetings to evaluate Condition Reports related to procedural issues.
QUALIFICATIONS

Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Experience: A minimum of 5 years in Maintenance, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong team collaboration skills.
  • Technical knowledge of nuclear generation principles and operations.
  • Excellent conflict resolution and change management capabilities.
  • Proficiency in current business software applications.
