Role Overview

We're seeking a seasoned Healthcare Strategic Partnership Lead to join our Contracting team. This role will serve as a strategic partner from Contracting for line of business stakeholders, driving alignment and timely execution of business and technology deliverables. As a key member of our team, you'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to advance complex large-scale projects from strategy to implementation.



Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:





  • Developing and updating all line of business annual network strategy for Ancillary and System Contracting for Contract leadership review.

  • Managing complex initiatives and/or alliances that require integration across multiple business units.

  • Gathering cross-functional internal/external inputs and providing content expertise to make high-level recommendations to Contracting leadership.

  • Developing, maintaining, and reinforcing program strategy and scope, ensuring programs are on track, on budget, and progressing towards business goals identified.

  • Developing, managing, and leading effective and collaborative program and team structures to ensure discussions are appropriately focused, timely, and incorporate input from internal and external subject matter experts.

  • Proactively identifying implications and challenges to success, developing cross-functional strategies to address/resolve and get buy-in, and escalating as needed to achieve timely resolution of issues.

  • Representing Contracting as an SME for line of business/product forums.



What You'll Need

To succeed in this role, you'll need:





  • A Bachelor's degree in business and/or a related field, or equivalent experience.

  • 5-7 years of provider contract-related experience.

  • 7-10 years of general work experience.

  • Extensive knowledge of the health plan industry and its customers, as well as expertise in strategy development/planning and project leadership.

  • Strong analytic skills, with a clear understanding of dynamics of financial models, provider incentives, and contracting business processes.

  • Well-developed working knowledge of managed care, insurance, and provider dynamics.

  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.

  • A proven track record of working effectively with people and processes at multiple levels.

  • Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.



Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, our comprehensive total rewards package includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, retirement plans, paid time off, employer-paid life and disability insurance, tuition program, well-being benefits, and a full suite of benefits to support career development, individual, and family health, and financial health.



Estimated salary: $150,000 per year, based on 5-7 years of experience and location.
