Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize animal enclosures, including dog kennels, cat cages, and isolation areas.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of food and water bowls, litter boxes, and other equipment.
  • Operate washing and drying equipment to clean animal bedding.
  • Feed animals according to our shelter schedule.
  • Maintain equipment and perform routine maintenance tasks.
  • Assist with animal intake and release procedures.
  • Provide basic care and handling of animals, including administering medications as directed by our shelter veterinarian.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the shelter's mission and goals.
