Job Title: Health Information Operations Supervisor

At CIOX Health, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health Information Operations Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional client service and serving as a knowledge expert for our Health Information Services (HIS) staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and motivate a growing team of HIS staff to achieve exceptional client service and operational excellence.
  • Collaborate with leadership to communicate issues, opportunities, and challenges, and provide solutions and recommendations.
  • Manage and oversee the escalation of calls from our centralized call centers, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Participate in project teams and committees to advance operational strategies and initiatives.
  • Coordinate with location/client management on complex issues, building strong relationships and providing exceptional client service.
Requirements:
  • A true leadership philosophy, with a focus on serving others.
  • Ability to support clients and team members working both onsite and remotely.
  • 1-2 years of experience in health information operations, with a strong understanding of HIPAA standards.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present to leadership, clients, and team members via video or in person.
  • Detail-oriented and quality-focused, with a strong commitment to accurate and compliant information for medical records.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • EMR experience with Epic or Cerner.
  • Previous production/metric-based work experience.
  • Team building and experience elevating individuals' careers.
Working Conditions:

This role requires the ability to work in an office environment with minimal exposure to unpleasant and/or hazardous working conditions. Must be able to stand and sit frequently throughout an eight-hour period, reach horizontally and vertically for overhead use, and use a telephone or headset equipment. Incumbent must be able to lift 20 lbs., perform work at a computer terminal for 6-8 hours a day, and function in an environment with constant interruptions. Reasonable accommodations are available to qualified individuals with disabilities. Must be willing to travel up to 75% of the time to multiple sites based on the needs of the region.
