  • Globalisation: Work with the Senior Manager Transformation to develop a roadmap for the globalisation of every application used today in Meiyume.
  • Service Level Agreements: Ensure Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met for the application support through leading a team and third-party vendors.
  • Application Monitoring: Define and build an effective application monitoring roadmap that improves with time.
  • Documentation: Ensure strong documentation exists for technical specifications, application architecture, and procedures for applications.
  • Business Relationship Management: Manage the business relationship to ensure buy-in and advocacy for business change activities with internal business, IT, project teams, and third-party consultants.
  • Industry Trends: Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices related to software development/automation and incorporate them into the organisation's strategy.
Qualification and Experience
  • Education and Experience (MUST HAVE)
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree: Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years of experience in a management role.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team effectively.
  • Project Management Skills: Excellent project management skills, with experience in Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Software Development Knowledge: Knowledge of software development best practices, including design patterns, testing techniques, and code quality standards.
  • Software Development Tools: Experience with software development tools such as version control, bug tracking, and continuous integration.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement innovative solutions.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Well-organised, strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a team and independently.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel.
  • Vendor Management: Familiar with managing external vendors and able to communicate with users across all levels.
  • Complex Project Management: Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Business Acumen: Strong business acumen, with a deep understanding of business operations, processes, and strategy.

Preferred Criteria
  • Cloud Technologies: Knowledge of cloud technologies and software-as-a-service (SaaS) applications is a plus.
  • Programming Languages: Hands-on experience in software development using modern programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Automation Technologies: Working with automation technologies like UIPath, Microsoft, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, Selenium, Appium, or TestComplete.
  • Certifications: Certified PM (PMP) and/or Agile Scrum Master certifications highly regarded.
  • ERP and WMS Experience: Previous experience implementing ERP, WMS, and other system modules highly regarded.
  • Project Management Tools: Track record in Project Management tracking tools such as Jira or equivalent.
  • ISO27001 Experience: ISO27001 experience highly regarded.
  • Gartner's Run, Grow, Transform Model: Knowledge of Gartners run, grow and transform model.
  • Manufacturing or B2B Industry Experience: Experienced in manufacturing or B2B industry is an absolute advantage.
