Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sprinkler Service Technician to join our team at Johnson Controls. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch service and repair of sprinkler systems for commercial, industrial, and residential applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions in sprinkler systems
  • Perform service and repairs on wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, and fire pumps
  • Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, and operational product manuals
  • Exhibit effective customer service skills and communicate with district staff and customers to ensure complete satisfaction
  • Participate in a scheduled on-call rotation and be available for occasional overnight travel
Requirements
  • 2-5 years of documentation experience in the Fire Sprinkler/Suppression industry
  • Ability to perform physical labor, including carrying and moving equipment and tools up to 50-70 lbs
  • Able to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions, such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, and high lift equipment up to 40 feet
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, to meet customer requirements
  • Some overnight travel may be required
