About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Sprinkler System Technician to join our team at Johnson Controls International. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing sprinkler systems for commercial, industrial, and residential applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to service calls and diagnose equipment malfunctions
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on sprinkler systems, including wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, and fire pumps
  • Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical manuals to diagnose and repair equipment
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with customers and district staff
  • Participate in on-call rotation and perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of experience in the Fire Sprinkler/Suppression industry
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions, work independently, and as part of a team
  • Capable of performing physical labor, including carrying and moving equipment and tools up to 50-70 lbs
  • Able to work in unusual positions, such as climbing ladders and scaffolding
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, and participate in an on-call rotation schedule
  • Valid driver's license and driving record that meets company requirements
  • Able to pass a pre-employment background and drug test

Johnson Controls International offers a competitive hourly rate, ranging from $32.00 to $40.00 USD, depending on education, experience, and qualifications.
