Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sprinkler Service Technician to join our team at Johnson Controls International. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch service and repair to our commercial, industrial, and residential clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions on sprinkler systems, including wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, and fire pumps.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software, and operational product manuals.
  • Exhibit excellent customer service skills by communicating effectively with district staff and customers to ensure complete satisfaction.
  • Electronically complete Service Acknowledgements with proper coding and obtain customer signatures.
  • Participate in a scheduled on-call rotation and be available for occasional overnight travel.
Requirements
  • 2-5 years of documentation experience in the Fire Sprinkler/Suppression industry.
  • Ability to perform physical labor, including carrying and moving equipment and tools up to 50-70 lbs.
  • Capacity to work in unusual positions, such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, and high lift equipment up to 40 feet.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and participate in an on-call rotation schedule.
  • Some overnight travel may be required.
