Autism Support Professional

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Autism Support Professional to join our team at Behavioral Health Associates.
This full-time position offers a competitive salary of $24,971.60 + (based on experience) per year, as well as a range of benefits including paid leave, holidays, and medical plans.
Key Responsibilities- Support and maintain classroom policies to create a positive learning environment.
- Tutor individuals or small groups of students, reinforcing instruction as directed by the teacher.
- Assist in administering and scoring tests according to student performance and behavior.
- Perform routine clerical duties, operating classroom and office equipment.
- Provide emotional support, guidance, and direction to students as needed.
- Utilize behavioral-analytic interventions to reduce problem-solving behavior and remediate skill deficits.
- Monitor and report student progress to teachers and other relevant staff members.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Paraeducator experience from a previous school or agency is preferred.
- Experience working with children/students with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is beneficial but not required.
- Effective written and oral expression, as well as basic computer literacy.
