- Handle incoming calls from consumers, including the general public and prospective enrollees, while adhering to performance standards and confidentiality policies.
- Effectively respond to all forms of inbound and outbound communications.
- Document inquiries accurately using the designated systems.
- Refer consumers to appropriate resources based on established guidelines.
Facilitate the delivery of requested materials via mail, email, or download.
- Provide translation services for non-English speaking callers as per procedures.
- Escalate issues to designated staff for resolution when necessary.
- Participate in meetings and training sessions to maintain current knowledge of programs and systems.
- Process new health care coverage applications through various channels, including telephone and web.
- Manage life event changes, demographic updates, and disenrollment requests.
- Ensure all inquiries are handled in compliance with confidentiality policies.
- Conduct outbound calls to gather necessary information from applicants.
- Review and process documents submitted by applicants according to guidelines.
- Meet established Quality Assurance (QA) and performance metrics.
- Adhere to safety standards and maintain a stationary position for extended periods.
- Occasionally lift items weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required, with at least 6 months of relevant experience.
- Strong data entry and telephone communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experience with computers and phone systems preferred.
- Bilingual Spanish is advantageous.
Technical Requirements:
- Personal computer with Windows 10 or higher.
- Home internet with a minimum download speed of 25 Mbps and upload speed of 15 Mbps.
- PC Processor: Intel i5, AMD Ryzen 5, or superior.
- Minimum 8 GB RAM.
