Financial Planning Associate

Prudential is seeking a Financial Planning Associate to join our team. As a Financial Planning Associate, you will be responsible for studying towards obtaining required FINRA and resident state licenses during the Pre-Contract CDP Affiliate phase. Upon successful completion, you will transition to a part-time CDP Contract Associate role and eventually become a full-time Financial Professional Associate (FPA).

Responsibilities:
  • Continual learning and development in the field of financial planning
  • Building and maintaining client relationships
  • Providing comprehensive financial advice and solutions
Day-to-Day Activities:
  • Conducting financial analysis and creating customized plans
  • Presenting recommendations to clients
  • Monitoring and managing client portfolios
Compensation Structure:
  • Pre-Contract CDP Affiliate Phase: Company covers costs of fees and exam study materials from approved vendors
  • CDP Contract Associate Phase (Part-Time): Initial compensation: $15/hour (or applicable minimum wage if higher)
  • Full-Time Financial Professional Associate (FPA): Paid solely on a commission and bonus basis, with average compensation ranging from $50,000 - $75,000 in commissions and bonuses in the first full year
Additional Benefits:
  • Eligibility for enrolling in a 401(k) plan
  • Participation in Company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance plans for the FPA and eligible dependents
  • Potential eligibility for paid leave
