About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Medical Assistant to join our team at QTC Management, Inc. in Bremerton, WA.

Job Summary

The Medical Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative and clinical support to our healthcare team. This includes performing routine and basic front and back-office duties, assisting in the examination process of patients under the direction of a physician, and conducting a variety of diagnostic tests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine and basic front and back-office duties, including data entry and phone support
  • Assist in the examination process of patients under the direction of a physician
  • Conduct a variety of diagnostic tests, including vital signs, EKGs, and PFTs
  • Prepare specimens for laboratory analysis
  • Draw and collect blood samples and/or urine samples from patients
  • Record information on patients' charts
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Medical Assisting and/or graduation from an accredited vocational Medical Assistant program, and/or military equivalent
  • Medical Assistant Certification to include license through the Washington State Department of Health
  • 1-9 years of medical assistant experience
  • Technology driven medical data entry system experience or related computer data entry
  • CPR/BLS certification required
  • The ability to organize, plan, and coordinate multiple tasks with a high sense of urgency and follow-through
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • The ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • The ability to maintain conditions that ensure a healthy and safe working environment
  • The ability to successfully pass National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) background investigation
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in multiple medical specialties
Work Environment

The Medical Assistant will work in a fast-paced clinical environment, providing support to our healthcare team. The position is located onsite at our clinic in Bremerton, WA.

QTC Management, Inc. offers competitive compensation and benefits, including hourly pay, quarterly bonuses, and annual merit increases. The pay range for this position is based on years of experience and education.
