Job Summary:

The Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Manager will provide leadership and guidance to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. This role will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining EHS programs, policies, and procedures, as well as training employees to ensure a safe working environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement EHS policies, programs, and practices
  • Investigate environmental, health, and safety incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions
  • Oversee the review, maintenance, and compliance of the Process Safety Management (PSM) program
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of environmental incidents and regulatory compliance
  • Collaborate with departments to ensure EHS regulations are met
  • Foster a positive safety culture through employee engagement and training
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement
  • Lead employee engagement efforts, including the EHS committee and internal audits
  • Assist with workers' compensation management and return-to-work programs
  • Stay up-to-date on EHS regulatory changes and implement necessary updates
  • Prepare regular reports on EHS performance and progress
