Key Responsibilities:

The Facilities Maintenance Manager will be responsible for a variety of maintenance tasks to uphold the facility's safety and operational standards:

  • Conducting preventative maintenance to avert potential issues.
  • Performing general repairs across the facility.
  • Maintaining cleanliness in outdoor areas, including the yard and parking lot, ensuring sidewalks are clear of debris and ice.
  • Overseeing painting and adjustments to building systems.
  • Managing repairs for equipment and fixtures.
  • Coordinating waste removal processes.
  • Ensuring operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness in maintenance practices.
  • Promoting personal safety within the facility's 95-unit building and surrounding grounds.

Qualifications:
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • A two-year technical degree or equivalent experience in building maintenance or a related field is preferred.
  • A positive attitude and readiness to embrace new challenges.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to foster collaborative relationships with management, staff, residents, and their families.
  • Successful candidates will undergo a criminal background check and must meet the mental and physical demands of the role.
