Director of Distribution Sales

Vivreau Advanced Water Systems is a leading provider of high-quality, sustainable water solutions for businesses across North America.
The Director of Distribution will be responsible for managing and scaling Vivreau's distribution network, focusing on driving sales through existing distributors while identifying and developing new distribution partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Distribution Strategy: Develop and implement a North American distribution strategy that aligns with Vivreau's growth objectives, optimizing sales performance and market penetration.
- Distributor Management: Cultivate strong relationships with existing distributors, providing them with the tools, resources, and support needed to maximize sales.
- New Business Development: Identify and onboard new distributors, ensuring alignment with Vivreau's sustainability mission and business goals.
- Sales Performance: Monitor and analyze distributor performance metrics, identifying trends and areas for improvement, while creating actionable plans to enhance results.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to create tailored sales tools, promotions, and training programs for distribution partners.
- Negotiations: Lead contract and pricing negotiations with distributors, ensuring favorable terms while maintaining profitability and long-term relationships.
- Industry Insight: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive activities, and emerging opportunities to guide distribution strategies.
- Leadership & Mentorship: Manage and mentor distribution teams, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.
- Travel: Travel as needed within the U.S. and Canada to meet with distributors, attend trade shows, and support sales efforts (approximately 30%).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field a plus
- 5+ years of experience in distribution sales, specifically within the equipment or water systems industry.
- Proven track record of growing and managing a successful distribution network across North America.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing high-performing teams and cultivating distributor relationships.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building abilities.
- Analytical skills to evaluate performance data and drive business decisions.
- Passion for sustainability and water conservation, with a deep understanding of the water systems market.
- Ability to thrive in a remote work environment, with excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Willingness to travel as needed (up to 30%).
