At PSG Global Solutions Careers, we're seeking a skilled Behavioral Health Technician to join our team. As a key member of our support team, you'll work one-on-one with children and families with autism to implement learning programs, collect data on target behaviors, communicate with stakeholders, maintain client confidentiality, and regularly meet with your direct leader.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized behavioral intervention plans in collaboration with a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  • Provide one-on-one developmental and behavioral support to children with autism, adapting teaching techniques to various physical and mental behaviors
  • Partner with families to understand their needs and develop strategies to support their child's growth and development
  • Collect and analyze data on target behaviors, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to address them
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including families, caregivers, and other professionals involved in the child's care

About Our Client:

Our client is a leading provider of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy, with over 10 years of experience helping children with autism acquire essential life skills. With a focus on family-centered care, our client works closely with families to develop individualized plans that meet their unique needs and goals.

Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or GED and at least 18 years of age
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working with children ages 0-18 in a daycare, classroom setting, or similar environment
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working one-on-one with clients in a behavioral health environment
  • A passion for helping children with autism and making a real difference in their lives
  • Patience and compassion with the ability to work well in a team environment
  • Ability to obtain a CPR, First Aid Certification, and Tuberculosis test (if not already completed in the past year)
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
