Job Overview:
The Personal Banker plays a vital role in assisting both current and prospective clients with a range of banking products and services. This essential sales and service position is responsible for generating new business opportunities and enhancing customer relationships by effectively communicating the advantages of our offerings. Engages in proactive outreach and business development activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrates and promotes the advantages of banking products and services to both potential and existing clients to foster new business and strengthen current relationships.
  • Facilitates the opening of banking accounts, processes loan applications, addresses client inquiries, performs account maintenance, and guides clients through banking procedures.
  • Accountable for achieving designated branch sales targets.
  • Contributes to daily branch operations, which may include opening and closing procedures, vault balancing, maintaining internal records and audit logs, managing safe deposit box requests, performing teller duties as necessary, and executing other administrative tasks as required.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required; some college education is preferred.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of customer service experience, including cash handling.
  • One (1) year of banking experience is strongly preferred.
  • Six (6) months of sales experience is preferred.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to adapt swiftly to changes in procedures and technology.
  • Knowledgeable in processes and procedures related to consumer deposit and loan products.
  • Exhibits professionalism and composure; possesses strong sales acumen; contributes positively to a motivated team environment; adept at monitoring details and prioritizing tasks; goal-oriented mindset.
