Cuidado del Paciente:
Prioriza y entrega atención básica al paciente que puede incluir asistencia con el baño, cambios de ropa y sábanas, suministro de agua fresca y hielo, movilización, medidas de confort y otras necesidades del paciente.
Proporciona un excelente servicio al cliente al responder a las solicitudes de pacientes y familiares.
Registra y reporta hallazgos y datos de atención al paciente de manera oportuna. Informa rápidamente sobre cambios en la condición del paciente y asegura asistencia calificada según sea necesario.
Dependiendo de la unidad, también puede ser responsable de tareas de telemetría.
Puede funcionar como asistente de atención al paciente monitoreando al paciente, atendiendo sus necesidades y colaborando con otros miembros del equipo de atención al paciente según sea necesario.
Cuando trabaja en una unidad clínica, puede ser requerido para llevar medicamentos del sistema de entrega al RN.Colaboración:
Colabora y consulta con el RN y otros miembros del equipo interdisciplinario para brindar la mejor atención al paciente.
Demuestra un trabajo en equipo efectivo, priorización, comunicación y organización.
Realiza tareas no relacionadas con la enfermería según se le delegue (por ejemplo, limpieza, reabastecimiento, atención telefónica, apoyo administrativo, proporcionando direcciones).
Implementa el plan de atención según se le delegue.
Realiza tareas asignadas dentro del Alcance de Práctica. Ejecuta procedimientos especializados con validación de habilidades y de acuerdo con los estándares regulatorios. Fomenta un entorno seguro cumpliendo con la política de seguridad y tomando medidas apropiadas en una emergencia.

Si ha sido certificado anteriormente, debe tener un C.N.A. actual y válido antes de la fecha de inicio
