Job Summary

As a CNA, you will work under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse to assist patients with daily activities, monitor vital signs, and provide emotional support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the nurse in charge
  • Assist with feeding patients and ensure proper nutrition
  • Assist with mobility and transferring patients from bed to wheelchair or vice versa
  • Keep patients' rooms clean and organized
  • Assist with medical procedures such as taking blood pressure, administering medications, and changing dressings
  • Provide emotional support to patients and their families
  • Document patient care and report any changes in condition to the nurse in charge
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of a state-approved CNA training program
  • Current certification as a CNA
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift and move patients as needed
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
