A non-exempt position responsible for performing various duties across ambulatory settings, including primary, multi-specialty, and specialty practices. This role may involve both clinical and administrative areas, including assisting providers with patient care, handling clerical, environmental, and organizational tasks. The successful candidate will maintain a working knowledge of regulatory standards and be accountable for upholding these standards in daily operations.
Requirements- A minimum of one year of recent experience working in a medical facility as a medical assistant and/or documented evidence of an externship completed in a medical office is required. Epic experience is preferred.
- Graduate of a post-secondary medical assisting education program accredited by NJAC (13:35-6.4) approved certifying body and current certification from a recognized certifying board approved by the NJ Board of Medical Examiners.
$45,000 - $60,000 per annum, based on location and experience.
