We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Professional to join our team at Canvas Health. As a Clinical Therapist, you will provide essential services to children and families in a school setting, promoting hope, healing, and recovery.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver diagnostic assessments and therapy services to eligible students and their families.
- Collaborate with school psychologists, social workers, teachers, and mental health providers to provide consultation and training on mental health issues.
- Develop and implement treatment strategies for children with severe emotional disorders.
- Provide case consultation and support to school personnel for clients in the Therapeutic Assistance Program.
- Master's degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, psychology, or clinical counseling.
- Possess or currently pursuing an LICSW, LMFT, LP, or LPCC licensure.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in working with severe emotional disorders in children and adults, family systems theory, individual and family development, and community resources.
- Considerable ability to plan and implement treatment strategies for children with SED.
- Experience working with students and families of color, understanding the impact of race and poverty on students and families.
- Experience with electronic health records.
