Job Title: MI/CD Psychotherapist Trainee

At Fairview Health Services, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate MI/CD Psychotherapist Trainee to join our team in our Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Program. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide individual, group, and family therapies to patients aged 12-18 with mental health and substance use disorders.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans in collaboration with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and updates to ensure individualized care.
  • Interface with government agencies and complete referral processes for next-level care.
  • Communicate effectively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity and coordination of care.
  • Document thoroughly, timely, and clinically appropriate information to meet regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in psychology, social work, nursing, or a closely related field.
  • 1 year of supervised experience in mental health and chemical dependency, including comprehensive assessment, individual, group, and family therapy.
  • Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) or eligible for independent clinical licensure as a LMFT or LPCC.
  • Basic Life Certification and 30 hours of adolescent development training required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2 or more years of experience in mental health and chemical dependency.
  • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Associate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LAMFT), or Licensed Graduate Social Worker (LGSW).
