About Us

More Than Just an Educational Institution

Our classrooms are designed with low student-to-staff ratios, and the curriculum aligns with the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks.

Engaging lessons, projects, and activities are delivered through a hands-on approach and utilize 1:1 devices.

Alongside core subjects, students participate in Physical Education/Fitness/Health, Art, Music, and Technology elective classes.

High school students earn credits toward their local graduation requirements, explore Transition & Career options, and have opportunities for credit recovery.

Our school-based clinical services offer tailored therapeutic treatment to help each student thrive across various environments. Services include individual and group sessions and crisis intervention, focusing on social/emotional growth and problem-solving.

Utilizing the Attachment, Regulation, and Competency (ARC) model, our trauma-informed, integrated program merges education with related services.

Our clinicians and staff are trained in Collaborative Problem Solving (CPS), a therapeutic model addressing behaviors arising from lagging skills.

Our clinical team works closely with classroom staff and other service providers to implement specific strategies and methodologies across all settings to consistently foster student social, emotional, and behavioral regulation.

Our curriculum and support services encourage healthy relationships with peers and staff, instilling educational and social confidence, empowering students to reach their full potential.

Each RFK Community Alliance school operates year-round, state-approved special education day school programs for students aged 6-21 with social, emotional, and behavioral needs.

We emphasize each student's capacity to cultivate attitudes and actions that promote problem-solving, independence, and academic success. We believe in a holistic educational environment that prioritizes social competence, character development, and personal values for learning.
