Our Strategic Focus
  • Empower individuals in underserved areas with the necessary skills and qualifications to access quality employment and wealth-building opportunities.
  • Invest in local businesses, affordable housing, and essential community infrastructure to promote economic growth, health, safety, and educational advancement.
  • Enhance existing partnerships while forging new collaborations to amplify our impact on communities.

This unique synergy between our local offices and national investment expertise allows us to create meaningful change in the communities we serve. Effective coordination among the Strategic Investments team, local offices, and various stakeholders is essential for success. While multiple groups within LISC contribute to fund management, the Strategic Investments team is accountable for maintaining a strong track record in managing off-balance-sheet fund investments.

  2. Fund Development - Securing capital from investors for the fund.
  3. Fund Deployment - Establishing investment origination strategies and overseeing the underwriting and investment processes.
  4. Fund Performance & Measurement - Monitoring the performance of current investments and managing financial reporting and impact assessments.
  5. Capital Innovation Lab - Spearheading the development of new investment strategies through pilot programs and initiatives.
This role will concentrate on the Fund Development function.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to potential and existing investors.
  • Build and maintain relationships with prospective investors.

  • Facilitate investment transactions in collaboration with legal, marketing, and other relevant parties.
  • Compile due diligence documentation and address investor inquiries.
  • Conduct sensitivity and risk analysis for financial models.
  • Support Senior Directors in sales and business development efforts.
  • Generate quarterly reports detailing assets under management and fund offerings.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of client interactions and business activities in our management systems.
  • Organize quarterly and annual investor events.
  • Assist in implementing software solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent relevant experience.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of related experience, ideally in finance or accounting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint (minimum five years), Word, and Excel (including macros, pivot tables, and v-lookup).
  • Strong proofreading abilities.
  • Experience with Salesforce (minimum one year preferred).
  • Familiarity with Adobe Illustrator or InDesign is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel domestically up to 25% annually.
Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage; disability insurance; retirement savings plans; generous paid time off; tuition assistance; and professional development opportunities.

LISC is committed to equal opportunity employment and values diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice in our workforce.
