Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CDL Class A Driver to join our team at PFG Customized Distribution. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for delivering and unloading food and food-related products to customers in a safe and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive a tractor trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes to deliver and unload products to customers.
  • Communicate and interact with customers, vendors, and co-workers professionally to ensure questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Perform all required safety checks, including inspections of the tractor, truck, and trailer, to ensure they meet company safety standards.
  • Report all safety issues and/or repairs required.
  • Follow all DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines and policies.
Requirements
  • Valid CDL-A license with 6 months of tractor trailer experience.
  • Ability to hand-lift and utilize two-wheeler, lift gate, and/or other equipment to move and/or stack product cases/freight of varying size and weight throughout the shift.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and co-workers.
