Job Summary:

PFG Customized Distribution is seeking a skilled CDL Class A Driver to join our team. As a CDL Class A Driver, you will be responsible for delivering and unloading food and food-related products to customers in a safe and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive a tractor trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes to deliver and unload food and food-related products to customers.
  • Communicate and interact with customers, vendors, and co-workers professionally to ensure questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Perform all required safety checks, including pre/post trip inspections, to ensure compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
  • Report all safety issues and/or repairs required.
  • Follow all DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines and policies.

Requirements:

  • Valid CDL-A license
  • 6 months commercial driving experience
  • High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
  • Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable)
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years
  • Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check
  • Pass road test
  • Attains or has valid current DOT Health Card and/or able to secure new DOT Health Card
