Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Therapist to join our team at T.L. Johnson Agency LLC. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children and teens with autism.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer assessments, including VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, Essential for Living, Functional Assessments, and Functional Analysis.
  • Develop reports, including functional behavior assessments, individual treatment plans, behavior intervention plans, and discharge summaries.
  • Utilize behavioral skills training to teach direct care staff the skills needed for client programs.
  • Train and supervise behavior technicians in the implementation of ABA procedures and interventions.
  • Develop individualized programming based on client needs and caregiver requirements.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in ABA, Psychology, Education, or related field.
  • Minimum of two years of related professional experience working with children with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) in a multidisciplinary team setting, preferred.
  • Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst in good standing with the BACB, required.
  • Ability to move freely, quickly, and frequently from a seated position (on the floor or in a chair) to a standing position as well as the ability to lift items up to 50 lbs. on occasion.
