We are seeking highly motivated individuals to join our team at the Autism Behavioral Institute in Columbia, South Carolina. Our ideal candidate is passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with autism.

As a Behavioral Therapist, you will provide home-based services for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, introducing safe and appropriate replacement behaviors and reinforcers. You will follow treatment plan goals and interventions, utilizing sound judgment and seeking out appropriate consultation. You will collect behavior data, record data in CentralReach after each session, and participate in training and clinical supervision.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide home-based services for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder
  • Introduce safe and appropriate replacement behaviors and reinforcers
  • Follow treatment plan goals and interventions
  • Collect behavior data and record data in CentralReach
  • Participate in training and clinical supervision

Requirements:

  • 40 HR RBT Course or Registered Behavior Technician Certification (RBT)
  • Valid driver's license and transportation

Preferred:

  • High School Diploma, Bachelors or Master's degree in the Human Service Field with a current RBT Certification

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here are representative and not all inclusive. The employee is regularly required to talk or hear and frequently required to stand; using hands and fingers; Lifting, pushing, pulling up to 25 lbs.

Working Environment:

Travel between client's homes will be required. Must be available to work afternoons and evenings until 6:30 pm.

Pay Rate:

up to $28 hourly.
